Jason Dunn, the founder and frontman for Hawk Nelson, is leaving the group May 15 to work on a solo project.
Dunn will release his first solo project under the name of Lights Go Down sometime this year.
Hawk Nelson will release a‑best-of album “The Songs You’ve Already Heard: Best of Hawk Nelson” on March 27.
“I will miss playing music on stage with my friends, but really looking forward to the future with Lights Go Down,” Dunn said in a press release. “I wish Hawk Nelson the very best with their future endeavors.”
