Jars, NEEDTOBREATHE, Flyleaf in Denver

This week is jammed packed with some excel­lent con­certs. On Mon­day — TODAYJars of Clay is at Smoky Hill Vine­yard Church.

Jars’ stu­dio Gray Mat­ters suf­fered dam­age in the recent flood­ing in Nashville and record­ing for its new CD — The Shel­ter — has been set back. On The Shel­ter, Jars of Clay is “the house band” while to col­lab­o­rates with Ali­son Krauss, Jon Fore­man of Switch­foot, and Matt Maher — and oth­ers. NEEDTOBREATHE is at the Blue­bird The­ater on May 13 — Thurs­day, and Fly­leaf wraps up the week at the Ogden The­ater on Sat­ur­day, May 15.

NEEDTOBREATHE just won Group of the Year at the Dove Awards in April, and the band was fea­tured on “Cougar Town.”
