Sports and music collide on ABC/ESPN today (6 p.m. MDT.)
During ABC’s broadcast of the college football game between No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 5 Florida State, ESPN — which owns ABC or vice versa — will air five songs from Switchfoot’s newest CD “Vice Verses.” The crossover Christian music artists, who will play the Boulder Theater on Oct. 7, will also get a chance to debut their video for the first single “Dark Horses.”
Along with broadcasting some of the Grammy Award winner’s album, which comes out Sept. 27, ESPN is streaming the new CD so fans can listen to 11 songs from the CD on this site. Talk about a coup for the band.
But wait, there’s more… fans can enter the Switchfoot Flyaway Sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to the 2012 Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.
