Albertina Walker died this past week at age 81. The Grammy Award winning “Queen of Gospel” wrote more than 100 songs, many of which were recorded by such artists as Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Al Green.
She also performed for several presidents, including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
