Muslim using rap to promote peace

Cyrus McGoldrick is a Mus­lim and a rap­per who is using his music to shine a light on mis­con­cep­tions of his reli­gion.

CNN has a video of the young New York­er post­ed on its web­site and includes inter­views with his par­ents. He was born in Rhode Island and raised Catholic. In the video his moth­er says, “God has one mes­sage and that is to love each oth­er.”
