KJ-52 sees changes in hip-hop acceptance

KJ-52 attend­ed his first Dove Awards by sneak­ing in back­stage as a part of the press. Back then he says the cat­e­go­ry was rap-hip-hop-dance and that hip-hop nev­er won. Now it’s a viable cat­e­go­ry.

“How cool is it that I’m shar­ing the stage with Bil­ly Gra­ham, Sarah Palin.…,” he said. “The church and indus­try now rec­og­nizes it as a viable min­istry. How cool is that.”
