Kirk Franklin big Grammy winner in Gospel category

Kirk Franklin nabbed the Best Gospel Song and Best Gospel Album for “Hel­lo Fear” at the Gram­my Awards on Sun­day after­noon.

In the oth­er Gospel cat­e­gories Le’An­dria John­son won Best Gospel/Contemporary Chris­t­ian Music Per­for­mance for “The Awak­en­ing of Le’An­dria John­son;” Lau­ra Sto­ry nabbed Best Con­tem­po­rary Chris­t­ian Music Song for “Bless­ings,” and Chris Tom­lin won Best Con­tem­po­rary Chris­t­ian Music Album with “And If Our God Is For Us…”

And con­grats also go out to Joy Williams, whose band Civ­il Wars won Best Folk Album for “Bar­ton Hol­low.”
