Jeremy Camp is getting the crowd going at Coors Field as the Rockies celebrate Faith Day today.
Ubaldo Jimenez, in a quest for his 18th win of the season, brought in a full house and more than half the fans are staying to hear Camp.
Rockies outfielder Seth Smith started the celebration with a little devotional before introducing Camp, who started the concert with a piano solo.
I’m amazed watching Camp jump around the stage and getting the crowd going with “I’m Alive,” as he had about an hour sleep last night. He flew into Colorado after a concert in Michigan, the he was wisked off to Coors Field to lead worship for the team.
With a new CD coming out in a week, Camp gave a preview with his first single off the album “Jesus Saves.” And for some lucky fans, the band is sellling the new CD for $5 after the concert, but there’s only 5,000. Even his tour manager doesn’t have one.!!
