Refillable water bottles and sunscreen are a given for this weekend’s Heaven Fest at the Ranch in Loveland with the forecast calling for highs in the mid-90s, but here’s some other suggestions for the one-day Christian music fest.
*Earplugs. Yes, earplugs. You might not want to use them all day long, but if you are front and center, your ears will thank you. Yes, the spongy brightly colored foamies are OK, but I was given an opportunity to try a new product: EarPeace and was pleasantly surprised. Here’s a link to a review and there’s a coupon.
* The lineup: With so many bands and stages, along with interactive areas for kids and a comedy club, you need a lineup and a map. Download them here on the Heaven Fest website.
* Strollers, blanket, snacks. Energy snacks and drinks are a must. Soft-sided coolers 12 x 12 x 12 will be allowed. (Security’s discretion.) No alcohol or hard-sided coolers.
* Camping vs. hotel: There is camping again at the location, and discounts for hotels.
* Cash: $5 for parking, and most vendors only take cash. There will be ATMs, but why stand in line?
