The Denver Broncos are so short-handed that the team used backup quarterback Tim Tebow as a slot receiver against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.
Why, you ask? Eddie Royal went down with a groin injury leaving the Broncos short at WR. As a quarterback, Tim Tebow is required to know everyone’s assignment on offense. Yes, every QB needs to know what his offensive teammates are suppose to do on every play.
And, this is big, Tebow is a big target (6‑foot‑3, 245 pounds) and a workout machine, making him a true all-around athlete.
