Steven Curtis Chapman is bringing his Songs & Stories Tour to Colorado on Oct. 22 to Mission Hills Church in Littleton. Tickets go on sale Aug. 5.
Joining Chapman is Josh Wilson and Andrew Peterson. So expect a lot of stories interjected into the music portion of the show.
Wilson is known to non-Christian music fans as the man who entertained a Newark (N.J.) Airport crowd with “Hey Jude” while the airport was shut down in January because of a security breach. Here he talks about the impromptu show.
Peterson (here’s a Dancing in the Minefields video) is also an award-winning author of children’s books. His folksy music is a good fit for a song and storytelling concert – just as the name of the tour implies.
I enjoy this venue and it’s perfect for this type of format — intimate with quality sound. And I always meet some neat and interesting people there.
